Julie

I wrote “Julie” in one day. I was so inspired that day, I remember thinking like “oh my god I cannot stop writing” my brain just could not stop coming up with rhymes and stories. I wanted to write a song with a persons name for a long time, I just didn’t know which name was going to be. Until I sat down, grabbed my guitar and started playing some random chords and melodies. It felt like it was meant to be, without even noticing I was singing the fully first verse and chorus of “Julie”. I wanted it to be a fictional love story. Julie (apparently according to my brain) is a girl in my class, got a pretty boyfriend (Harry) and she’s one of those blonde popular girls at school. But she’s hiding something that no one knows except me which is, she’s in love with someone else and I know it! The song is basically a book transposed to 4:07 min song. It has a beginning, middle and end.. Will Harry find out about Julie’s big secret? I guess you’ll just have to listen to the song till the end 😉
