Bluff

I wrote “Bluff” when I was having a really bad day. I kept waiting for my crush to text me but they never did and it was so frustrating. I know I might sound dramatic but I was actually so sad. It was those kind of relationships where you don’t really know where you stand with the person. They tell you tell like you, the next day they don’t even talk to you and then it’s just a rollercoaster of emotions. So, to get my feeling out I did what helps me the most in those type of situations… I wrote a song!! I remember sitting in front of my piano with this sad song idea in my head but then I was like “I’m so tired of crying I don’t want to feel this way anymore” Then I grabbed my guitar and started playing some really simple chords and building up some beats, melodies and eventually the lyrics. I was so happy when I came up with that catchy melody in the chorus (where I repeatedly say “I’m calling you bluff oh oh oh”) because it was exactly what I had in mind. I wanted it to be a happy song with sad lyrics, But yeah, this is a little bit of how I wrote “Bluff” and I really hope you like it!
